About the Artist
Mraz is an American Singer and songwriter who got commercial success through release of his album ‘Mr. A-Z’ in 2005, which was Mraz’ second album. He released his first album ‘Waiting for my Rocket to Come’ in year 2002. It spawned a hit single ‘The Remedy (I won’t Worry)’ which was very much liked by the music lover as a whole and his fans in particular all over the world. When he released his second album he got a marvellous response and the album peaked at number five on Billboard 200. Peaking to such a top position, the album was sold in 100,000 copies in United States alone.
His third album ‘We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things’ was released in 2008 which also got a great response from music followers while it top number three on the Billboard 200. It not only brought the much wanted commercial success to Mraz but also earned international success to him. One of the big hit out of this album was ‘I ‘m yours’ which reached at number six on Billboard Hot 100. It was the first single by Mraz which reached top 10 ranking of any chart and further remained there for a record period of 76 weeks.
Mraz won many awards for his work in music. These awards include two Teen Choice Awards, Hal David Songwriters Hall of Fame Award, two Grammy Awards with further two nominations and the prestigious People’ Choice Award.
